N.S. Porter is an author from southwestern Pennsylvania. In My Eyes was born twenty-six years ago — on a typewriter, before the internet, before cell phones, before you could Google anything. It was written the old way, from the inside out, from a spark that wouldn’t let go. A movie about abuse. A mind that started creating and never stopped. Twenty-six years later, it still feels exactly the way it did then. That was always the point.
